Oriole Walking Route Oostvaardersplassen
Follow the 5-kilometre long and red-marked route Wielewaal through the Hollandse Hout in the Oostvaardersplassen. Spot a roe deer or hawk, walk through different types of landscape. The route starts and ends at the car park on Knardijk.
The dark beech forest is interspersed with maple and ash forests, as well as rustic pools and open meadows, giving a nice variety during your walk. You may even spot a roe deer, buzzard or hawk along the way. Dogs are allowed here, but on a leash! Wear sturdy shoes as it can be a bit muddy.
