Food forest Roggebotstaete
The food forest is an initiative of Rich Forests and Landgoed & Proeftuin Roggebotstaete. Rich Forests develops food forests in developing countries where intensive tea plantations have depleted the soil. By establishing food forests, the soil recovers and the local population can develop new earning models. In the Netherlands, the food forest offers opportunities to farm in a more environmentally friendly way. Our food forest is well researched and so we can share our lessons with farmers and citizens who are also interested in a food forest.
